Description

If you are passionate about caregiving and have a Flexible work schedule, we are hiring CNA, HHA, PCA caregivers for clients residing in Stamford & Greenwich, CT. Shifts range in length from 4 hours to 12 hours. Availability from Mornings and/or afternoons (Day Shifts) during the week and/or weekends. 

Collaborative Home Care takes pride in the professional development and training of our Caregivers. We offer a robust training program to those Caregivers interested in furthering their professional development within the Home Care industry.

Qualifications:

  • A love for the senior community
  • A compassionate and upbeat attitude 
  • Strong commitment to reliability and dependability
  • Self-directed, with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
  • Dedication to professional development
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving for seniors
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, Auto Insurance and a reliable and well maintained car
  • Possess a current State ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Passport or Birth Certificate
  • Eligible to work in the United States for any employer
  • Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care.
  • Providing care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders) 
  • Companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping, driving to appointments).
  • Caregivers must be able to work with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
  • Perform other duties as assigned on personal care service plan
