Pay Rate: $21 per Hour
Schedule:  from 1pm to 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 


Job Description: 
Collaborative Home Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver who embodies a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate is someone who is positive, experienced, and caring to assist an elderly man who lives in Greenwich, CT.  The client needs help with showering, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. The client also needs transportation to social activities, so you must be able to drive and have reliable transportation. You will be reimbursed for miles driven in your car.


The Care Plan includes:
a) Helping her with showering and dressing
b) Engage in activity (companionship)
c) Light housekeeping and meal preparation
d) Occasional driving trips to social activities 
e) Medication reminders

 Qualifications: 
  • A love for the senior community
  • A compassionate, upbeat attitude and patient demeanor
  • Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
  • Dedication to professional development
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving for seniors
  • Ability to lift 30–40 pounds
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, Auto Insurance and a reliable and well-maintained car
  • Possess a State ID and a valid second form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate
  • Eligible to work in the United States for any employer
  • Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care.
  • Caregivers provide care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders)
  • Companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping).
  • Caregivers must be able to work with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.
